The most common reason that people use cloth diapers and are willing to pay a service, is allergy. Some infants are allergic to paper diapers. Having used both, I much prefer disposables (the use of resources to clean and deliver cloth diapers is an argument against them in the green world).

It's because though while washing used diapers is gross, disposable diapers make up a huge percentage of trash at dumps. With the plastic and synthetic materials used, take ages and ages to decompose. It's wreaking havoc on our environment, and super costly for consumers as well. Americans are used to a super disposable lifestyle. What needs to happen is creating a biodegradable diaper that when broken down, will not release toxins like PCBs and dioxin into our environment.

At least with cloth diapers, parents should have to clean that shit (literally) themselves.
